Philadelphia University's new Athletic and Recreation Facility meets the needs of today’s athletes and students, expands competitive sports for men and women, and enhances intramurals for all interested students. The main gymnasium seats 1,200 fans for basketball and 2,500 for non-sporting events.

Students are able to use two additional regulation-size courts for basketball and volleyball, an aerobics studio, and a racquetball court. A one-eighth mile, elevated jogging track rises above the main gymnasium. A glass-enclosed, fully equipped fitness center offers a view of Main Campus.

In addition to the new basketball courts and training and fitness center, this facility has large men’s and women’s locker rooms, a laundry facility, and equipment storage areas. The upper level includes expanded offices for coaches and staff, and a hospitality suite for gatherings.

A 251-space parking garage beneath the Athletic and Recreation Center has changed parking and traffic flow and create a more inviting Main Campus. For more information about parking on campus, visit www.PhilaU.edu/Security/Parking.
